 Spring Valley Chorus
plans busy Summer 2010

Under the direction of our new director, Helen Giallombardo, Spring Valley Chorus is looking forward to summer events that, so far, include a performance at Luther Village, a performance for Senior Night Out at the Barn in Schaumburg and the singing of the National Anthem at a Schaumburg Flyers baseball game and at an Elgin Bandits women's softball game.  The summer will also include an Ice Cream Social July 23.  You'll also find us singing at the St. Ignatius Summer picnic on August 22nd and at the Aviation Show in Schaumburg on August 29th. We are hoping to book one or two summer festivals as well.  Summer guests will be invited to perform at these events.

Spring Valley Chorus is a group of dedicated, fun-loving, women who sing light, entertaining, barbershop-style music in contemporary and traditional arrangements.  Barbershop music is a unique, American art form sung a cappella (with no instruments); we preserve and promote this form of singing as a member of Lake Michigan Region 3 of Sweet Adelines International.
